Important Passport Information: As of this writing (February 2026), U.S. Citizens must present a U.S. Passport valid through your return date with at least two blank pages for entry into Costa Rica. It’s highly recommended to travel with a passport with 6 months validity after your return date, since many countries are requiring this and can change their policy at any time without notice. Citizens of countries other than the United States must contact the Costa Rican Consulate for entry requirements.
